My son is 2 years 9 months now. His date of birth is 14-8-2012. In which class shall i join him in this year i,e. june 2015? In Nursery or LKG? Will it creates problem at 10th class if i join him in LKG now?

And what should be the age for appearing CBSE 10th board exams and SSC 10th board exams?

1 or two years doesn't make that much difference.
But for your surety let us discuss all the aspects in details.

See, according to the rules of CBSE, in normal cases(as we have some exceptions also)-

The minimum age for the class 10th board is-
14 years as on 31st march

and the maximum age is
16 years as on 31st march.

If your son takes admission in Nursery then by the time he will reach 10th, his age will be- 15 years.

and if he takes admission in LKG, then 14.

So, my advise would be, LKG if it can be done so.

Numbers of CBSE schools are available across the country. Age criteria for standard I , A child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. It should be noted that a child born on 1st April also be considered for admission.Your son's birth date is 14/08/2012.Now he is of 3 years & 4 months. So , You should enroll him in junior KG & then after senior KG , but you can not enroll him in CBSE until he is of 5 years.For class X , His age should be between 14 to 16 years.

In CBSE schools, students have to start from Lower Kindergarten commonly known as L.K.G.
In some schools, there are LKG-I & II and in some schools LKG-I is called Nursery and LKG II is commonly LKG.
So, you need to follow the rules of the school in which you want your kid to study.
The minimum age of a student to appear in 10th boards examination is 14 years and maximum age is 16 years at the time of examination.

It doesn't matter whether your son get admitted in either Nursery or LKG as in both aspect your kid fulfill the age requirement as mentioned in CBSE norms.

If your kid know the basis then you must put him in LKG and if not started yet anything to study then Nursery otherwise you and your kid have to face problems in future.

In which class join my son age 2 years 11 months? It affect the case 10th exam in future?
