see, through lateral entry, you can't gat chance IITS or NITS.

but you can get good govt colleges like given below

1.Jadavpur university.

2.Delhi university.

3.Kolyani university.

4.Burdwan university.

5.SHIBPUR UNIVERSITY.

After completion of diploma you can take admission directly 2nd year in B.Tech .......
the college in metropolliton city for example NIMT in delhi ,NIIT , anna university will provide direct admission in 2nd year .

In India there are lots of colleges which offer lateral entry to B.Tech courses. You need to appear in the State level lateral entry exam. As to get a set in B.Tech second year, a candidate needs to have high score in their diploma. Some of the reputed universities which offer this course are Jadavpur University, Delhi University, Kolyani University, Burdwan University and Shibpur University.
