you are not eligible for iit and nit,you can try for some deemed universities or any state level colleges

dear friend, for you it not possible to get good colleges as per your gate marks..........your rank is not sufficient, so try next time.

if your percentile is more than 90% then you
get good colleges ..if you have more than 93% then
you get NIT.
if yiu have more than 95% then you get iit..

looking at your gate score and rank you may not get into IITs or NITs but you can easily get into some of the other government colleges as well as some of the good private college .well done.since it is valid for more than one year you can also try next time to get into much better than the colleges which you are getting it now.

sorry to say but you dont have such good marks to get good college.....still there is some hope of getting admission in NIT.............so go and apply for it...........

your score well considered .you may not get IITs or NITs but you are eligible for any other government college than that.

if your gate percintile is more than 98% then apply for iit ,if it is between 95 to 98 percentile then apply for nit and below that state level goverment colleges are prferable

you cannot get the a grade college.
i suggest you to take any college which suit your marks.

This is the most commonly asked question since GATE results are announced. This is not really easy question to answer nor very difficult.

as you have not mentioned your GATE percentile so it is more difficult to me.i can tell you about the possible college only after knowing your percentile or score in GATE exam.

nevertheless i am giving small idea.if your percentile is more than 98 then you have greater chance to get berth in IITs.

but if your percentile is in between 90 and 98 then you can get good branch in NITs.

Your rank is not a bad one but that score cant make it to IIT's or NIT's but you can try for deemed universities and local colleges. Its not a big deal to get a seat in local colleges.

So try for deemed universties and the local colleges and if you are willing for an IIT or NIT seat then try again.

There are so many Institutes/Colleges around your rank,

In general,GATE sore is very vital to get admission in important top most colleges like IITs,NITs etc..

Generally,if you have more than 95 percentile then you can get chance in IITs or NITs

if you have more than 92 or 93 percentile then you can get chance in Jadavpur Universityt,Bardwan University.

But Bardwan University does not offered M.Tech in CSE.

sorry to say that it is very difficult to take admission in NITs as per your rank.
But you can apply in other government engineering college like Jadhavpur,Shivpur,Kalyani,Jalpaiguri engineering college.
But you have to apply for many colleges & wait for cut-off list & interview call .
