Yes, command over languages like C and Java are enough to fetch you a job in Infosys.
Infosys basically has two round selection procedure 1st is online test and 2nd is HR plus technical round. In the online test there are 3 section Aptitude, English, Reasoning. There is sectional cutoff also in each section so be careful about that. The online test level is average aptitude and reasoning is simple but English is hard.

For written exams, you can prepare from quantitative books like "R.S. Agarwal and Arun Sharma" and also you can practice the mock aptitude tests online.
There is no job security in any private IT industry as it totally depends on the business requirements of the company and your performance.
