Which are the core companies for B.Tech ECE graduates?
iam b.tech(ece) graduate and i would like to know the openings in core companies.it may be a private company or a government company.

Basically Electronics and Telecommunication branch is that branch in which you need to be PG in this then only you can go for Core companies with better knowledge. Its a vast network but being only a Graduate will not help you, you need to apply for Gate then join in some good college so that you can able get a very good placement from there. But if you think not to study PG then its better to join in some software Company because all over the country the colleges is facing very big problem of not getting any Core company for Graduate candidates. Many Companies are their which comes in small packages and some are coming in very good packages like IDEA Cellular, Reliance Infrastructure etc. Those company doesn't visit to any of the colleges like Syntel, siemens, Motorolla, Intel and lots more. Don't worry if you desirous and very technical then soon you will get a job in Any of the above named company.

For ece graduates, many core companies are available. They are bhel, bsnl, tata motors,ashok leyland, tvs, bosch, madras motors, dell, samsung, many more. All the best

Core companies for ECE are Nokia,Intel or you can go to any company , the flexibility is there.You can also join DRDO the big organization.

After completion of B.tech in ECE field , you can apply for jobs in various fields.. As you wants to go for Core technical jobs then you can apply for jobs in PSU's like- 1.NTPC 2.ONGC 3.BHEL 4.BEL 5.SAIL 6.BSNL 7.TATA communication 8.Railways You can also apply for jobs in research centers like- 1.ISRO 2.DRDO 3.BARC You can apply for these jobs.. There are many companies in India which offers a graduate of ECE branch ... Ece student can go for the both software field and also to the core companies jobs... Some of the software companies like *TCS *Satyam *Wipro *Infosys...etc Core companies like *Railways *Telecom companies like BSNL,MTNL... *ISRO *BHEL *BHPV *Nokia...etc

I am listing a few ECE core companies. Though ECE finds application in almost every company these days.
