Re: Which course is best for me between MBA IT and MCA?
MBA IT is a combination of software and administration where as MCA degree is purely related to software. MBA IT facilitates you to have administrative job in IT field. MCA degree helps you to get in to the role of software professional. Either of these courses provides good opportunities. Selection of the course can be done according to your interest.

Dear friend , MBA stands for Master of Business Administration and MCA stands for Master of Computer Application. Both have good scope. in MCA , there is software related study , but in MBA IT , management of it is there. so choose that course in which you have most interested. umang_28 |

Dear Aspirant, While coming to your question. This is the most frequent confusion for all the students. If you want a challenging career. You can choose any one of the course.Because both are challenging in their way. MBA is a course where you can excel your skills in the business management with the help of software's. Its not purely related to the software. So you can be getting jobs in a higher levels like Manager or More of a company. You will be having a huge salary and a challenging task in your job. MCA its a course which is purely related to the Software and the computer applications. IT needs the persons who holds MCA degree. You can get jobs in the IT sector. The job profile can be software developer to any job which relates to IT. So even this job can pay a handsome salary. But when compared with the MBA. You many get less salary.Anyway the work depends. Its not good to depend on others choice. So Its now your choice to decide which side you are going to choose. Hope this info helps you. All the best for your future endeavor's. Any more Queries. Don't Hesitate to ask me. Am happy to help you always. Just ping to my profile. Best Regards, Sampath. |

MBA stands for Master in Business Administration while MCA stands for Master of Computer Applications. As you are confused between MBA in Information Technology and Master of Computer Application. So I want to tell that both courses are different. There is no point of comparison between MBA and MCA course. It is true that MBA in IT and MCA both courses are related to Information Technology Sector. But both courses are different. MBA is two years post Graduation master's degree course where as MCA is three years post Graduation master's degree course. If we talk about recent time then there is no doubt that MBA has better scope and job opportunities in compare to MCA. Today almost every graduate of each stream are adopting MBA as their career due to its scope and job opportunities. Now a days almost every company related to IT sector recruits candidates belonging to MCA and MBA field both. So, mostly companies are common in both courses. But for MCA you have to spend 3 years while for MBA you have to spend only 2 years and it is also true there is more and better job opportunities for MBA candidates when compared with MCA candidates. The demand of MBA candidates are increasing in Market. Now if we talk about salary package in both courses, then I want to tell you that candidates belonging to MCA course can get salary package ranging from 3 lakh to 12 lakh. Even if you are doing MCA from top institute of India then also you can get maximum 15 lakh salary package. But for MBA candidates salary package in excellent. If you are pursuing MBA from a average college then you can get job with salary package ranging from 4 lakh to 20 lakh. But if you are pursuing MBA from top institute of India then your salary ranges in from 8 lakh to 50 lakh. Students of IIMs are getting job of more than 1 crore salary package. If you want to choose MBA as your career then you must have following qualities for getting good job and starting your booming career with attractive salary package. The qualities which you must have are:- 1. Personality development 2. Good Business skill 3. Interview Skill development 4. Good Management Skills 5. Leadership Skills 6. Problem Solving Skills 7. Logical Thinking 8. Improve communication skill 9. Good soft skill development 10.Listening Skills etc. Top MBA Colleges in India:- 1 Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad 2 Indian Institute of Management Bangalore 3 Indian Institute of Management Calcutta 4 Indian Institute of Management Lucknow 5 Institute of Rural Management Anand 6 Xaviers Labour Relation Institue Jamshedpur 7 Management Development Institute Gurgaon 8 Indian Institute of Management Indore 9 S.P. MBA IT stands for Information Technology and MCA stands for Master of Computer Application. The MBA IT is combination of both software and management skills. The MCA contains purely Soft technologies. In MBA IT provides MS- Office and some words software. But MCA provides all software technologies and also getting good knowledge and grip in Computers and Technical Knowledge. After completion BCA, the correct track is MCA. For doing MCA you become a good software professional. after completion of MCA you can also get some part time research and development program for your knowledge. It is the information giving for my level best. Good luck. |

Re: Which course is best for me between MBA IT and MCA?
If you want to carry on with your present field then you should go on for MCA, thereafter you can be a lecturer in a good college and earn well. Whereas on the other end, you can go for MBA, if you think that management is the field for you. Being an MBA will provide you more higher packages and job opportunities.
