i am a commerce graduate with b.com(hons) from du, i m so confused what should i opt mba or mca for a good career. i've cleared ggsipu mca entrance test with a rank of 451 and i also got 87 percentile in mat test of mba.
is b.tech equals to mca?

I think you should go for MBA. Your background is B.Com. It is better option for you. Because MCA is related to computer and your course is related to business.

You are a commerce student and you have done your B.com from very reputed college, So after B.com, i will suggest you to opt MBA finance, It is best for you and you can handle this course properly.

You can Do both the courses, But Its Better If You can go with Your Interest.

MCA is also Very Good Course, So, if you like to make your career bright in Computer field, then MCA is best option and most of the IT companies are recruited MCA Candidates.

But MBA is quite different form MCA, MBA is Management Course and after completing this course you can earn more money then MCA, So Its totally depends on you, In which course you like the most, For MBA you have to appear for CAT/MAT entrance examination and if you have scored good rank in CAT/MAT examination, then you will get admission in top B-schools.

You have already give the MAT entrance examination, So you can apply for MBA colleges, And to get admission in top MBA colleges you have to clear the GD and Interview, And if your communication skills are good then MBA is best option for you Otherwise you can opt MCA course Because MBA is toatally depends on your communication skills and your current Knowledge.

MBA is 2 year degee course While MCA is 3 year Degree course.

So, please think and then choose course according to your Interest.

Does B.Tech equals MCA -

No, You cant say that B.tech Degree is Equivalent To MCA. MCA is Post Graduate degree course and B.tech is Bachelor degree course, But many companies will given equal Importance for these course. So according to me, Both these degree are different, And the level of Study are also Different. So, You cant say that B.tech Is equivalent To MCA degree course.

no btech is not equall as mca.. bteh is more preferable and where u can get good job

as your a bcom student,you go for mba because taday mba has more demand when compared with mca and also you will have bright future.....in order to join in any management colleges you need to clear the entrance exams like CAT,MAT,GMAT,etc....MBA is 2 year degee course While MCA is 3 year Degree course......i suggest you to go with mba......gud luck.

Mca is better.it is approximately equal to btech.you do it.

At first you should know that you can take admission only when you qualify the entrance exam of CAT, MAT or XAT.

And as you said that you are the students of B.Com then you should join tje C.A programme which is the best carrier option for you.

But if you are interested in m.com and MBA then I will suggest you to go for MBA.
because this keep a good job option and also a good salary.

If you like software field you enter in to MCA .
If you like business much you enter into MBA.

Through MCA you can do business also.

for example the great billgates to create a soft wares and do the business and earn so much of rupees so if you start a new website or new soft ware company and do the business.if you do MBA ,you dont know how to create website etc. In a less time you can earn so much of rupees.
If you dont like software field you can do MBA through the CAT or MAT for enter into
B-shchools.B-schools MBA very valuable in market.

I think you should do MBA because it is better to do the management for you and if you wants to be in software field then i think you should go with MCA and the B.tech and MCA is equivalent both has their different importance and the B.tech is a bachelor course whereas MCA is a master degree........

B.Tech is not equals to MCA.

B.Tech is bacelor in technology where as MCA is a master in computer application.

after bcom it will be better if you can do MBA .

as MBA is related to B.COM. specially if can do MBA in Finance.

you can also do MCA if you have math in 12th.

Dear, as u told that u r a commerce graduate so its really better that u should go for MBA from a reputed college.Because MCA and MBA both r different cources one is about Management another is about Teconology....no doubt that both r having great scope in the market but basically problem with u may be that u r a fresher in MCA but MBA is based on commerce,economy etc U think in a number we can get B.Tec(IT,CS) students then why companies 'll prefer only MCA?........but one option is there u can go Dual degree program MCA and MBA..
Of course B Tech and MCA are different one is Graduate degree and other is Post graduate degree......But according to my experience u can have a bright future with MBA.

MBA is Masters of Business Administration.

It is a 2 years post graduation course and suitable for those who want to join the corporate world.

It is a highly demanding course and growing too fast.

Anyone who has completed his or her graduation in any field is eligible for MBA.
The percentage of marks is not required.

So you are eligible for MBA.

You are from a commerce background, so I feel you should do MBA. Management course would be more beneficial for your, that MCA, as its a totally technical field.

Those you do BCA advance to the MCA. and then get their MBA.

But you are not a BCA.

The best option for you would be to go for M.Com first and then MBA.
