Re: Which course to study after Intermediate to become a Scientist?
You are completing your 12th and you want to become a scientist then first you have to complete your graduation and your post graduation and then complete your PhD course.
After these courses there are different exams conducted by research institutes. You can appear for them and get the chance to become a scientist. |

To become a scientist you have to do PhD in the subject of your interest.
To do PhD you need to complete your graduation first and then your post graduation in the same subject. After which you will have to clear an entrance exam to take admission in the university you want to do your PhD in. So at present you should work hard in your studies. |

DRDO stands for Defence Research and Development Organization. You can select science stream and pursue engineering course in streams like computer science, electronics and telecommunication or electrical engineering etc to apply for DRDO examination after bachelor's degree.
Second approach for you, to pursue bachelor's degree in science then Master's degree in science in stream like Physics, Mathematics etc to become eligible for DRDO exam. You can choose any of the two course options. |

The full form of DRDO is Defence Research Development Organization. If you want to become Scientist in DRDO, the best suitable course for you is Bachelor of Technology course from a recognized institute.
You can apply for engineering entrance exams like Joint Entrance Examination for admission in government engineering colleges. JEE is conducted by National Testing Agency. It has two stages JEE Main and JEE Advanced. |
