Hie.. I am a student of SYBSC.IT since i am in the mid year of these course i have to fix my mind in which course to do my PG? As their are lots of PG courses offered like MBA,MSC.IT,MCA..,etc but i am confused whether to opt for MBA or MASTERS as for both i have to start my preparation from now so that i can score well in the entrance exams. I want to know which field will have a better future for me as both are totaly different fields. As we need 4yrs of Graduation for doing MS, BSC.IT is only of 3yrs. So for that can we do 1yr of MSC.IT ?? Help me..

Well, if you are so confused an also wanted if you should go for MS, then WASE is the best solution for all of your needs.

hii friend.... well yeah off course there are a lots of courses you can do it....you can join GNIIT course to make your best future you can get to know the information about the GNIIT in any of the NIIT institute near by your area.....you can join MSC IT ,MCA, MSC COMPSCI..... or you can do any of the additional software courses if you need to develope you IT knowledge.....or As MR.fayaz is saying you join wase program also which great IT company wipro is organizing......WASE(wipro academy of software excellence) MS program offered by BITS (birla institute of technology and science) eligibility of the course is 50% in 10th ,50% in 12th and 60% in bsc degree....

Better you go for WASE program of wipro or can also do MBA in IT both will have good future for you. don't be so much confused there are also many vacancies for people like you in banking sectors too.
So go ahead!

BSc (IT) students can opt for MCA,MSc.(IT).MBA will also be a smart option which will fech you with technical as well as managerial jobs.Career prospects for IT aspirants include software developers,programmers,software engineers,database managers , network engineer etc.. after B.Sc (IT) you can go for M.Sc(IT) or MBA in your previous subjects because with this it will be very easy for you to continue your studies.Also you can do job for sometime and then pursue your studies because you can gain experience also

1.MBA.

2.MCA.

3.MSC in IT.

as above courses are professional courses so after doing this courses you will have lots of good jobs opportunity.

That is correct hat you cannot do MS without 4yrs of graduation.
Of all the options you mentioned, i'd suggest you to go for MBA.
Today there is a lot of demand for MBA graduates and that you are doing BSC IT, you would be in a better position for the job as you have the knowledge of IT. Many MNC's which are basically IT companies are constantly on the look out for MBA graduates, and hence you will have a strong resume.But make sure that you do it from a good and reputed B-School.

I have completed B.Sc.IT in 2007. Now am doing job in a Multinational Company "Educomp Solutions Ltd". But I am not satisfied with my Pay scale which is @ 10,000/-. I have 8 years experience in Computer Technical Line experience in Schools & College as a Sr. System Administrator. I want to get atlease 25000/- PM.
I have an interest in Computer Networking line. Now I have also done MCITP and getting ready for CCNA.
But when I am looking online placements websites, every job elegibility is BE/B.Tech with MCITP and CCNA. Is is compulsory to do BE or B.Tech.
If no then please suggest me which big course will be better for my career.

After completing my MCA, can i apply for WIPRO WASE???????plz tell me.
I pass out 2010, can i apply for WASE in 2011?

Yes, you can apply for WASE program of Wipro but you can also apply for job in other IT company.
But it is also good that you want to go for Wipro WASE program which best way to join Wipro.

There are many course you can do after doing B.Sc in IT.

You can do M.Sc(IT), MCA,MBA etc..

I guess you had maths in your 10(+2),then you can go for MCA course easily..

Because the demand of MCA is high these days in the software industry...

It is somewhat equivalent to B.Tech computer science engineering course..

So plenty of options..and it is you who have to decide...

MBA

for MBA, you have to appear in CAT,MAT,XAT exams, so prepare for it very well.

other wise you can also appear for GRE,TOEFL,GMAT exams for study in abroad.

See its all upon you..Decide on what you like. You have already listed the courses which you can do after your postgraduation.

First try to see what you want to do in future. Think about long term and so decid upon it. All the courses which you have mentioned have tremendous scope so think which is suitable to you

It would be better for you to go for the MSC-IT..

Do no think anything else because after then you can apply for the technical fields.....such as M.Tech in IT, by the GATE score ....

Wel, its depend upon your onw interest and abilities. Remember no one can judge you better then yourself.

Where as for differance between these entrance, there is huge gap between all.

GRE & TOEFL will be tougher as there are for international level and very good command over English language is required.

Where as from countries side CAT will be tougher, while the XAT and GMAT remains second. But last time XAT was tougher (as said be aspirants). MAT being the easiest among them.

Selection process is more or less similar, paper pattern varies. And the most important one is institutes accepting scores.

If you have decided to MCA its good....and after doing MCA you can join TCS, Wipro, Dell Infosys etc......

ok, good, confusion is right, as per ur problem ,i would suggest u not to leave ur feild i.e computer science ,always be honest wit ur field. there is no field where there is no competition and this is fact competition meanse there are people who are ready for same ,then y not u , play the game wit hard work& honest labour.....wish u for ur effort..........

Any organisation dosen't require that you know some special couse to perform....its all depend on you that in which specfic sector you want to make your career. So choose your courses according that ....ok

I would suggest that MSC IT would be the better option than any other such as mba or mca because there will not have enough time to study while you are doing job. But if you are thinking to only study then you can choose mba than mca.

It is better to do MSC-IT after completing BSC-IT apart from this you are also having lots of option in your hand such as MBA,MCA...

You can also appear for UPSC Civil Services Examination.

You can apply for all the jobs which ask for a Graduate Degree..

As u r doing Bsc in IT, so u can go for Msc in ur branch.

it is totally ur decision where to go. Nobody will force u.

U can also sit in exam like GATE , by which u can join Mtech(IT).
there is lots of entrance exam like CAT,MAT,XAT , after appearing in this type of exam u can join MBA(IT).

As you are a IT student you have so many options in front of you .
there are so many courses such as
1:M.Sc-IT
2:B.Tech for more knowledge(optional you may take or not).
3:MCA
4:MBA
according to me you should not take MBA as you are being a IT student,you will be deflected from your ways.

if u have interest on business sector then u may choose MBA. from where also u can get big post's job of any company.

there are a large number of opportunities available for you after Bsc IT.you can go for any GNIIT course from any of the NIIT institute nearby your area.you can go for MCA,Msc in IT or computer science,you can also do MBA if you want to do.you can do many of the software courses available from various institutes.

if you complete M.sc(IT) after that you can do M.tech by qualify GATE exam,
for more knowledge in your subject


if you want to do MBA then you must appear exam like CAT,JC CAT,MAT.....etc

if you can to do MCA by qualify JCA exam.

All the 3 courses viz. MBA, MCA & MSc.(IT) are equally good in terms of career growth, pay package & promotional prospects. You can choose anyone of them depending upon your interest, knowledge, skill & potential to excel in a particular field.

Do a SWOT(Strength, Weakness, Opportunity & Threat) analysis of yourself. Find out your strengths & weaknesses. Analyze the opportunities & barriers you will find in a particular field. Then on the basis of your findings select the most appropriate course for yourself.

Try out for MCA or majorly part time MCA by doing that you can learn and earn and the simplest thing is that MCA portion matches the BSCIT portion a lot so in short you are only revising the syllabus. I suggested now its your choice
