Last Date Of Application : 28/04/2015

Those candidates who have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) are eligible for CPT exam.

CPT (Common Proficiency Test) exam is conducted by the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountant of India) once in a six month. Aspirants can enroll for this test, just after passing 10th examination, but can appear only after completing the Intermediate examination.

The dates of CPT 2015 is already published, and the last date to apply for CPT examination is 28-04-2015. The application form for CPT 2015 would be available from 7th April, 2015 to 28th April, 2015.

CPT exam conducted in the month of June and December every year.

Note: CPT exam is going be held on 14 June 2015.

Those who are interested in CPT 2015, please register before the last date. Just wait for the online registration process, after 07th April you can fill the application form online from the official website of ICAI.

The Chartered Accountancy course has three levels:

1. CPT or CA Entrance ( Common Proficiency Test )
2. CA Intermediate / IPCC
3. CA Final

CPT examination is an objective one and if you cracked CPT, you are eligible for the CA course. It is a Multiple Choice Question-type exam, with negative marking.

Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) conducts the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) twice time in a year. This exam is conducted for getting admission into CA (Chartered Accountant) course.

Candidates can register themselves for CPT exam direct after completing their 10th class but, they will become eligible to sit for this exam only after completing their intermediates or 10+2.

Candidates who have passed their 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized board exam are eligible to sit for this examination.

If they have studied with commerce's subjects then, they should have secured at least 50% marks (For non-commerce background candidates minimum 55% marks). Candidates from non-commerce background with maths should have secured at least 60% marks.

Important Dates for 2015:

• Start online application: 7th April 2015.
• Last date for application: 28th April 2015.
• Exam will be conducted on: 14th June 2015 (Sunday).

CPT Stands for Common Proficiency test , This exam is conducted by (ICAI) Institute Of chattered Accountant of India.

It has three levels CPT is first level , After this IPCC, After That Final.

Percentage criteria for commerce stream candidates is at least 50% in 10+2. For other streams it is minimum 55%.

It is the first stage of Chartered accountancy course.
