The cutoff for exams like ISRO will vary from year to year but

I can tell you one thing i.e.,

the cutoff will be around 29-35% on total marks

and the syllabus for the exam is uploaded in the form of text file below


as you did not mentioned your group..

HELLO SIR!! im a mechanical engineer with 69.3% in my engineering (counting only last 2 years mark).i have 6 months of work experience as well..i just wanted to know whether isro considers first 2 year marks also, as i have below 65% as my aggregate when considering all 4 years.

well nissi ,if u r able to get 40% OF THE TOTAL marks ,u'll definately get the call for interview..... but wriiten marks doesn't have any impact on final selectn means intrvw is eliminating........

can anybody mail me that what was the cutoff for SC category in ISRO exam in last few years?my email-id is [email protected]

hey u are misguiding all of us..last year student attemp 50 write question doesnot got call for interview..they will shortlist around 3 times student of total..as this year 2011 vacancies for cse are about 150 so near about 500(max) will be shortlist..so written is also elimination round..i want to say on thing if u clear the written exam than ur probablity of getting in isro is high as at interview they just ask all the basic concept..dont need depth knowledge..

dear i m from mechanical,i got the call for interview in 2009,,,, i m not very sure abt cs,but in interview their will be a pannel of 8-9 persons,,written has no weightage........,,they can ask anything ,,and obviously some Q on board,,,,,, in interview they asked me to drive darchy weisbach eqn fr annular pipe,,, i couldn't find fr annular pipe yet ,,,,,if someone know plz tell me....

hey dear....i also select in interview for isro in 2009 in cse trade....i loose my interview due to my nervous break down!!!!otherwise they are just asking basic of computer science>>>we can say that they are asking as much technical as corporate sector are asking....and related to board they also provide white board and on that they give us math question and see how u approach to solve it!!!!!!

result of isro-2011 is declared.......those who r selected got call letter for interview....so start check ur email..

not declared now...they upload the list of selected candidates on their website too....

i think the upload the list on their website too...so i dnt think the results are declared..!!

Hi, previous yr paper was tough so cut of marks was nearly 32-35 qus. correct

but this time paper so much easy compare to previous one . i m doubtful regarding cut off it may be 35 % of total or 40% like wise our engg. passing marks i think they just called for intr. only who pass 35-40% of total marks
