The notification for the Indian Forest Service exam will be published on 31.03.2012.

The examination will be conducted from 14.07.2012.

The last date of submission of application form will be 30.04.2012.

INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAM

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

A Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.

Final year student are eligible for IFS exam,

AGE CRITERIA

The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.

EXAM DETAILS

The notification Date---31.03.2012.

The examination Date---14.07.2012.

The last date of submission of form---30.04.2012.

Date Of IFS Forms

IFS (Indian Forest Service) Exams are conducted by the UPSC every year..

I have also attached a few past papers of various streams of IFS along with this reply..

Just go through them and observe the topics covered and the pattern of the exam..

I hope they help you out in your preparations and give you an idea of the exams you are about to give..

The forms for the IFS forms shall be released on 31st March,2012 and the last date to fill the forms is 30th April,2012..

The IFS exam for various streams will start on Saturday, 14th July,2012 and will continue for the next 10 days..

You will be required to appear in the exam which is your stream..

I.F.S is Indian Forest Services.

I.F.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.
