HOW TO APPLY

Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply.

Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi.
or
Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) in favour of 'All India Management Association' payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website www.aima-ind.org/matdec11 alongwith the DD details. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.
or
Register online at website link www.aima-ind.org/matdec11 with Credit Card payment. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

ELIGIBILITY FOR MAT EXAM

The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT 2012 is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University .

Final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc.)can also apply.

There is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different management institutes and universities.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is an entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to the post graduate management courses.

Management Aptitude Test is an objective test with 200 multiple choice questions to be completed in 150 minutes or two and a half hours.

MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December.

MAT December 2011 Important Dates / Notification:-

Apply Online (upto 12 November 2011 )

MAT December 2011 Paper Based Test:- 04 December 2011 (Sunday), 10.00am-12.30pm

MAT December 2011 Computer Based Test:- 10 December 2011 (Saturday) onwards.


MAT December 2011 Eligibility:- Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally.

MAT 2011 Paper Pattern:-

Mode of Test:- Two options to take the test: Paper Based Test Or Computer Based Test.

Dates and Timings of the test:-

* Paper Based Test is being conducted on the first Sunday of the February, May, September and December from 1000-1230 hours
* Computer Based Test is being conducted from Saturday onwards (6 days after the Paper Based Test date) and in different Time slots.


Validity of MAT 2011 score:- Validity of the MAT score is for that particular session for most MI’s is one year.


MAT 2011 Syllabus:- The MAT comprises of multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical/Abstract Reasoning. In all there would be 200 questions to be answered in a total time of two and half hours (i.e. One hundred and fifty minutes). There is negative marking in some of the exam schedules and the exam is conducted 4 times in a year.

So, If you have complete your Graduation then please apply for December MAT Examination. The Notification of December MAT Examination was Already Updated in the official Website and the Online Registration Process was already started, The last date of apply for MAT Examination 12/Nov/2011 and The Last Date for submission of filled in Online Registration Forms at AIMA, New Delhi : 15/Nov/2011.

If you are Interested in MAT Examination then please Obtain Form against cash payment of Rs 1200 from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi.

But its better to fill the MAT Application form Online by Paying the fees through Net Banking.

MAT exam is conducted 4times in a year i.e February,may, september and december.

Important dates for this exam:

Last date for online registration:14.04.2012
Last date for receipt of filled in online registration :17.04.2012

Paper based Test:
Date :06.05.2012 10.00-12.30

Computer based test date:12.05.2012.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university.

Final year students also eligible.

In this exam there is no limit.

Candidate must be a citizen of india.
