The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India has not yet announced the date of on-line CPT examination. The schedule will be announced and published on the official website of ICAI. Hence, to keep yourself updated, you must visit the official website of ICAI regularly.

There is no notification for CPT date present till now for the CPT June 2011 online exam.

Due to some Technical reasons, the Date of Online CPT Exams was not yet announced.

when is the next CPT online exam for 2011??can a student appear in both online and paper pencil mode?

We are receiving a lot of enquiries from students regarding the conduct of the next CPT On-line examination.

It is hereby informed that the Institute is currently in the process of addressing certain technical issues for fulfilling the long felt need of students for augmenting the number of seats/venues for conducting CPT On-line examination.

As soon the issues are resolved, the dates of the CPT On-line examination will be finalized and hosted on our websitewww.icai.org.

However, CPT paper pencil mode examination will continue to be held in June and December in the normal course.

The next CPT exam date is 19th june 2011. Exam will divide in two session
10.30 am to 12.30 pm
fundamental a/c,mercantile law
2.00pm to 4.00 pm
general economics,quantitative aptitude

CPT (Common Proficiency Test) is being conducted by ICAI in two modes for the year 2011.

-Paper pencil mode
- Online mode.

The paper and pencil mode of CPT exam is going to be conducted on 19th July,2011.


The announcement is still not made regarding the online exam for CPT.

This may be because of the technical issues that ICAI is facing.

Hope it will be resolved soon and the notification will be announced.

The CPT or the Common Proficiency Test is conducted by the ICAI organization.

The exam is conducted in 2 modes:

Mode 1:Paper and Pencil Mode

Mode 2:Online examination.

The dates for the exam in paper and pencil mode have been declared an the same will be conducted on the 19th of June 2011.

However, dates for the Online exam have not been declared due to certain technical reason and would be notified as soon as the technical issues are sorted out.

The date of online CPT eam has not been declared yet, so you have to wait for the notifications. However the offline exam date will held on 19th of June'11.
