how many attempt of cpt exam can we give in a year including both online and paper pencil mode exam. and when is the next online attempt of ca-cpt exam.

and the exam date will be helld on dec 2011 and june 2012........

Dear friend,

Those candidate who have passed Common Proficiency Test and Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) conducted by an examination body constituted by law in India

or

An examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto and passed CPT may join the Professional Competence Course.

These exams are conducted twice every year generally on the first Sunday of the months of June and December.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a student can make at the CA CPT examination.

CA CPT Syllabus 2012:-

No. of papers:- One

Duration:- Four years

Marks:- 200

Two Sections - Two hours - 100 Marks

Section A:- Fundamentals of Accounting ( 60 Marks )
Section B: Mercantile Law ( 40 Marks )
Section C: General Economics ( 50 Marks )
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude ( 50 Marks )

i am registered in april 2010 and already attempted thrice....So i heard frm my frnds dat my chances are over.....Can i give it a 4th time cpt with out registration or i need to register again plz tell me...I m very curious :(
