IAS :- Indian Administrative Service examination and this examination is conducted Once in a year.

Preliminary Important dates :-

Eligibility for IAS :-

-The candidate need to completed graduate degree in any discipline of a recognized University.
-The candidate age should be between 21 years and 30 years.
-Final year of degree may also eligible to apply for IAS examination.

IAS exam is conducted by UPSC in once time in year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.

But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

IAS- INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE conducted through Civil Service Exam by UPSC every year for recruitment of various administrative post in the various Dept. of Govt. of India.

The notification for Civil Service Exam 2012 is yet to be declared which will come out on 04.02.2012 and the application form will be available from this date up to 05.03.2012 followed by preliminary exam on 20.05.2012.

Well if you want to become an IAS officer then you will have to appear for the civil service exam.The examination is conducted by the UPSC.

The recruitment to civil service is completed in two phases ::

1.Preliminary exam
2.Main exam.:It consist of :
1.Written exam
2,Interview

1.Preliminary exam::It is common for all students and consist of two papers and both are of objective types.



2.Main exam:: students who will pass the preliminary exam will be eligible for the main exam.There are two optional subjects which a candidates have to choose and total 9 subjects .The main examination contains following papers.



Eligibility ::

You must have passed your graduation in any streams from recognized college
You should be between 21 to 30 years .There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students .The 5 years in upper age limit is extended for the SC/ST and for OBC i is extended to 3 years .

Relaxation is given in the no of attempts too to the reserved caste students.
No of times the general students can apply for the exam is 4 ,SC/ST unlimited times and OBC 7 times .

IES stands for Indian Engineering Service.
IES conducted by the UPSC once in a year.

IES exam required education complete graduation from a recognized university.
IES is the recruitments of engineering government services.

IES required engineerin branches are
mechanical engineering
civil engineering.

IES exam for candidate need the age limit is 21 to 30 for the general candidates.
The age relaxation for sc/st candidates is 5 years and for obc candidates 3 years.

Both male and female candidates are eligible to this IES exam.
