About CAT Entrance Examination 2011 -

Firstly I have to Inform you that, The CAT Examination was Held only 1 Times in a year and to appear for CAT Examination you need to purse a graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50% Marks from a recognised University.

Final Year graduate candidates are also eligible to apply for CAT entrance examination, And If you are interested to apply for CAT examination then please wait for Few Months Because the Notification of CAT examination for This year was not yet Announced.

The Notification may be Come in the Month Of August 2011. So when the Notification was announced it will be Updated in the Official website.

The CAT Entrance examination was generally held in the month of November or in December Every year. And after scoring good Percentile in CAT examination you will get admission in Top Business schools Like IIM's.

Notification Issue Date (expected) - Sunday, 21 August 2011

CAT 2011 Exam Dates (expected) - From Wednesday, 26 October 2011 to Wednesday, 23 November 2011

CAT 2011 Registration dates (expected) - From Tuesday, 30 August 2011 to Friday, 30 September 2011

Last date for receipt of application forms (expected) - Friday, 30 September 2011

Application vouchers can obtained from Axis Bank braches from 7 August to 1 October, 2011.

CAT stands for the Common Admission Test.

It is regarded as one of the most toughest and challenging entrance exams in the country.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to sit for the CAT exam are :-


1. You should be a minimum graduate in any stream/ in the final year to apply for this exam.

2. You should have preferably scored over 50% aggregate in your graduation.

3. Till now as such there are no limits for the CAT exam.


So if you fulfill these, you may sit for the exam.


This exam is basically held by the IIM's - Indian Institutes of Management which are the top most institutes for the MBA studies in the country.


So once you clear CAT, you would get admission in the top B-Schools in India.


Now the CAT 2012 notification is not yet out. Every year the notification is published in the month of August/September and the exam is held in November/December.


So you have to wait for the notification to be published in the official website of the CAT.
