The online exam date has not yet been declared.But the paper-pencil mode exam will be conducted on 19th June,2011.

Details about Exam Dates & its Details

Notification for CPT June exam has been published officially. Alternatively the candidate may fill up the examination application

form online at www.icaiexam.icai.org from 4thApril,2011 ( 10:00 hrs) to

25thApril, 2011 ( 17:30hrs) and remit the fee online by using either VISA or Master Credit / Debit Card.

The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Paper-Pencil mode Examination will be held on Sunday, the 19th June, 2011 in accordance

with the revised scheme of education, training and examination of the Chartered Accountancy Course.

First Session (i.e. Morning Session) 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws

Second Session (i.e. Afternoon Session) 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)
Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative Aptitude

Fee Details

The application form will cost you around 600 rupees, In contrast to CPT Exam There will be one pencil mode exam on 5 June 2011

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entry Stage test for Chartered Accountancy Course.

Examination in paper pencil mode will be conducted on :19th June, 2011 but this only for those one who already

registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on or before 1st April, 2011...

THE exam pattern consists of 4 hours of two papers and each of 2 hours..

Syllabus

session I

Section A consists of Fundamental of Accounting of 60 marks

Section B consists of Mercentalie Law of 40 marks.

session II

Section A consists of General Economics of 50 marks

Section B consists of Quantitative of 50 marks.

you need to get at least 55% in overall session and 30% in each subject......to crack cpt..

there is a one upcoming CPT examination on 19th June, 2011 in paper pencil mode. but for this you will not be eligible if you have not applied already. candidate should apply for this examination before 25th April. June examination is paper pencil mode examination. after June Next CPT examination will be conducted on the month of October.

The Common Proficiency Test or the CPT exam is
conducted by the ICAI.

The exam is primarily conducted in 2 modes:

Mode 1:Online Mode

Mode 2:Offline mode(paper and Pencil Mode).


As you are inquiring about the online exam, then
I would like to inform you that due to certain unresolved
technical issues, the dates for the online exam have not
been declared as of yet.
However, as soon as the issues are solved, and dates
decided, they will be declared on their official website.

Also, the exam in Paper and pencil mode is scheduled
to be held on 19th June, 2011.
