Details about doing B.Tech correspondence after doing diploma ECE? Do these correspondence courses have any value?
I have completed my diploma in ece,i want to do b.tech with correspondence.Plz suggest me the better option & the details about it and also that whether these correspondence degrees has value or not..thank you.

Yes you can correspondence after doing your diploma in ECE. The correspondence is called as AMIE.
The eligibility of AMIE is that you should have a diploma with a minimum aggregate of 45%. THe AMIE advantage is that its considered equivalent to B.E/B.Tech. Government recently annouced this. So you dont have to worry about the jobs as you will get awesome jobs after you finish the correspondence. However there is a disadvantage that the entrance exams which ask for 12th marks wont consider diploma students and so AMIE not eligible But there are few of these. And definitely the courses are valuable as I have mentioned above you can get great jobs through it All the best

As you said that you have completed diploma in ece stream.this stream has good future.if you do b-tech regular you will be more benefit,than doing corresponding course,if you spend another three year you will have good opportunity and you will be get high pay as you have done diploma+engineering.you can easily select for the job,when you go through the interviews.my suggestion is to do regular than distance education,if your family background is good.go head.otherwise do correspondence course.so that you may get promotion according to qualification.

1. Correspondence courses have value, if your university is approved by government & registered university. 2. After Diploma in ECE you can do B.E. or B.Tech. or AMIE as an correspondance course. 3. Some correspondance course universities are as follows: - a. IGNOU b. Punjab University c. Bangalore University d. Lovely University e. Sikkim Manipal University ....... etc. 4. Minimum eligibility for B.E. or B.Tech. or AMIE as an correspondance course is minimum 50 % in Diploma. Good Luck

BTech course done through correspondance mode do have some value but to make your studies more valuable I would suggest you to do BTech regular course.
Since you have done diploma in engineering you can get admission directly into btech third year through lateral entry scheme. It will increase your career prospects. There are many well known colleges like NITs, BITS, IIMT etc. which gives admission on lateral basis directly to students holding a diploma certificate in engineering. You are eligible to take admission in these colleges.

Please suggest some companies which recruit people who have done Btech in Electrical through correspondence. and i do have 2yrs experience as Engineer in Surface Mount Tech (SMT) after doing my diploma in EE??

Iam doing Mcom Degree in Bharathiyar University [correspondance] because Eligibility for B.Ed is Mcom. But now i got the message is Any degree done in correspondance does not have any value . All India Medical exam follows the syllabus for 11th and 12th class NCERT course. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are three subjects asked in the examinations.
