i am a 5th semester b.tech student studying electrical and electronics engg.(eee).i want all the details reguarding the exams(ies and psu) that i can give and necessary preparations for them??

ABOUT IES:
This is the exam conducted by the UPSC.Any engg. graduates from mechanical,civil,electrical and electronics can appear for this exam.age limit should be of 21-30.

ABOUT PSU:

This is govt. related jobs conducted every year.Various psu are:

ntpc

drdo

sail

iocl

bhel

gail

cil

etc. Every PSu have different eligibility criteria which is advertized every year.

The acronym for IES is Indian Engineering Services.

The acronym for PSU is Public Sector Undertakings.

Indian Engineering Services are the civil services that meet the technical and managerial functions of the Government of India.

IES officers are selected by the union government on the recommendations made by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A combined four-stage competitive examination (comprising six tests), called the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services.

The eligibility criteria required for the iES examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in Engineering(B.Tech/B.E.) from any recognized college or university.

* Age limit:- 21-30 yrs.

* Completion of post-graduation in Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics, or Radio Engineering from any accredited university.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders.

* Nationality:- Indian.

PSU is related to government jobs conducted every year.
