There are several institutions in USA from where the Ph.D programme can be pursued. As a MCA you can apply for the Ph.D. programme in USA in the relevant subject. It usually takes around 3 years to 7 years to complete a Ph.D. programme in USA, depending upon the nature and complexity of the subject chosen. Doctrate degree is awarded on completion of theoretical and practical classes followed by passing a comprehensive examination conducted by the institution and submitting a detailed thesis on the research work.
