Commencement of Entry of Application Form:-June 2015

Payment at SBM / E- Payment post office from:-July 2015

Last date of entry of Application details Online:-July 2015

Last date to pay the fee in the E-payment post office:-July 2015

Downloading of Admission Ticket :- July 2015

The Karnataka Examination Authority will conduct the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test-2015 (PGCET – 2015) for those candidates who wish to do M.E/M.Tech in the Karnataka state for the academic year 2015-16.

Candidates must have a graduation degree with 50% marks and must have a valid GATE Score.

Important dates for Karnataka PGCET 2015 are as follows:

Commencement of Entry of Application Form:June 2015

Payment at SBM / E- Payment post office from:July 2015

Last date of entry of Application details Online:July 2015

Last date to pay the fee in the E-payment post office:July 2015

Downloading of Admission Ticket :July 2015

Exam Pattern:

The Karnataka Examination Authority will conduct the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test-2015 (PGCET – 2015) for admitting students to PG course like M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka. It is a state level exam.

Post Graduate Common Entrance Test-2015 (PGCET – 2015) notification is not yet released by KEA.

You can apply for this exam only in Online mode once the notification is out.

Exam Pattern:-

Total Questions:-75

Total Marks:-100

Time duration:-2 hours

Application Fee:-

Rs. 500/- for SC / ST category candidates.
Rs. 600/- for General and OBC category candidates.
Deposit the fee through online mode.

Karnataka PGCET Exam is conducted by the Government of Karnataka for candidates to join in M.E /M.Tech/ M.Arch in various Government and it's aided colleges in Karnataka.

This is a Online entrance exam and this exam with 75 Multiple Choice Questions and the total mark for the exam is 100. There will be 50 one mark questions and 25 two mark questions which counts to 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

Eligibility Needed:

# Candidate should have a valid GATE score.

# Educational qualification needed is candidate should have completed a degree and it can in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate.


Regarding the dates for Karnataka PGCET 2015, the dates are not confirmed. The tentative dates for Karnataka PGCET is listed below:

First of all we know eligibility to write PGCET

Candidates has two options to become eligible to get admission

one is through GATE Valid score
and
another one is For PGCET

The written exam will be conducted by 9 disciplines

Civil engineering
chemical engineering
Computer Science engineering
environmental engineering
textile engineering
polymer science
architecture
Bio-Technology

The application process will be start June 2015
The last date for the application is July 2015
Downloading of hall ticket is July 2015
