We are Horanadu Kannadigas residing in Mumbai. My spouse has done her schooling and college till degree from Karnataka. Our daughter is planning to appear for Karnataka CET in 2015. She has done her schooling till 12th in Mumbai. What are the quotas and benefits which we can avail for our daughter since she is going to appear in 2015 CET-Karnataka? Also please give details about Engineering exam selections. When is the 2015 Karnataka likely to be held?

Your daughter is eligible to get all the benefits and reservations from the state of Maharashtra, as she has completed her more than ten years of education from Maharashtra state. But, she is not eligible to get any benefits from Karnataka state.

KCET 2015:-
The notification for KCET exam has not been released yet. The KCET examination authority generally releases the notification in the month of February and Application forms will be available in the month of March. And the last date to submit the Application will be in 3rd or 4th week of April.
The expected date of KCET 2015 exam will be in the first week of May.
