Difference Between BCA Degree and B.Sc Degree



BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application). BCA is a three year undergraduate program.BCA is a professional course.One learns about operating system, DBMS, Digitals, electronics and many more areas of networking and IT systems.BCA gives knowledge about application like C, C++, financial accounting and management, operation management,software engineering network and information system etc.There are lots of job opportunities in this field.

B.Sc(Bachelor of Science) It's simple academic course. B.Sc is a three year undergraduate course which mainly focus on theoretical aspects rather than teaching specific technologies.
B.Sc degree holders generally prefer to pursue higher education however they can seek for job in IT companies as software testers and software developers.B.Sc degree can pursue for higher degree courses like M.Sc and MCA.

"BCA"( Bachelor of Computer Applications).
It is a three year undergraduate degree course awarded in India in the field of computer applications.
If you are interested in programming,developing softwares,then you go for the BCA.
Students after BCA can for the higher studies:
M.C.A(Master Of Computer Applications)
M.B.A( Master in Buisness Administration)
MSc. CS (Master of Science in Computer Science)
MSc. IT(Master Of Science in Information Technology).
"BSc"(Bachelor Of Science).
It is also the 3 year undergraduate course awarded in India in the field of science.
If you are interested in Physics,chemistry,maths,electronics etc,then you go for the BSc.
After BSc.you can go for MSc. In physics,chemistry,maths etc.

By degree both are same. It means both are graduation degree course.
But BCA is a professional course. It gives you technical degree. It is totally related with computer. You can pursue with MCA.
Whereas in B.Sc you get simple graduation degree. You can pursue your higher studies in MCA and MBA both.
