Is Diploma in Engineering enough to be an Inspector of Police?
Hello Sir/Madam. I have done my Diploma in Engineering and I am interested to service people so decided to be Inspector of Police. May I apply for this post of my current career or should I do any other higher course?

Re: Is Diploma in Engineering enough to be an Inspector of Police?
The required common eligibility to appear for the examination conducted for recruitment as Inspector is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.
Candidates have to appear and qualify in the written, physical and interview stages for the final selection. So, you have to pursue and complete the bachelor degree course to become eligible for appearing in the SSC examination. The age limit varies with different recruitment examination. |

Diploma is not equivalent to bachelor degree and candidates are not eligible to appear for the recruitment examination.
The entrance examination is conducted in various stages and you have to appear and qualify in all stages of examination for final selection. So, you will become eligible to appear for the examination only after completion of bachelor degree. |
