There is no such entrance exam required for ICWAI course. Those candidates who have qualified 12th standard board exam from a recognized board are eligible to register for the Foundation Course. The cost and work, accountancy course is divided into three stages.

- Foundation Course
- Intermediate Course
- Final Course

The basic qualification needed for the intermediate program is a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year students are also eligible.
