ICAI (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India) formerly known as ICWAI which presently renamed by CMA (Cost Management Accounting). To apply for CMA foundation course, you need to register for CMA foundation course. After registration, you can appear CMA foundation exam which is conducted in the month of June and December every year. CMA foundation is 8 month duration course.

ICWAI (CMA) Foundation Eligibility
- You must have passed 10th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
OR
- You must have passed or appearing 12th class from a recognized board.

Last Date to Apply for CMA Foundation Examination
- For June Session : 31st January of the same year.
- For December Session : 31st July of the same year.

CMA Foundation Papers
- Paper 1 : Fundamentals of Economics and Management
- Paper 2 : Fundamentals of Accounting
- Paper 3 : Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics
- Paper 4 : Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics

ICWAI (CMA) Foundation Course Registration
- Visit the official website of CMA.
- Register online by necessary information such as course details, personal details, address details and education details etc.
- Upload scanned documents such as passport size photograph, signature, age proof and mark sheets etc.
- In last step, Make a fee payment online.
- You will get registration number which is used to be login.
