Do IIT colleges carry NRI quota for B. Tech courses? My son is studying in 12th in India & appearing for JEE
, where as I am working outside India with NRI status. Can my son get admission under NRI quota? What is admission procedure for that?

yes in iit there is NRI quota

No iit are not offering any nri quota.it was there 2 to 3% of total seat but later it was stopped due to poor quality of student.thank u

is nri seat offered in nit jalandar?

yes iit has some nri quota.
but it is only in bombay,delhi,madras,kanpur campus.

We are NRI's & my son is studying here in 11th. We wish to know which IIT's in India provide NRI Quota and what is the procedure for getting admissions through NRI Quota?

im an nri,and my son is doing his 12th clss in India.what is the procedure for getting through nri quota in IIT KANPUR...is there any separate test to get into it????.... awaiting for the reply..

my son is B.E from r.v college, bangalore UNIVERSITYAND IS EAD HOLDERIN USA AND IS LIKELY TO GET GREENCARD SHORTLY. IS HE TREATED AS AN NRI TO STUDY MTECH IN IIT , CHENNAI, AND IF SO CAN HE JOIN UNDER NRI QUOTA, HE IS 34 REARS OF AGE, IS HE ELIGIBLE TO ANY SCHOLORSHIP

My daughter is an american citizen but she studied in india. Right now she is in 12th. Can she get admission for B.tech in computer science through nri quota. If yes,then which exams she has to appear?
