Dear pal,
all India pre medical test is conducted for admitting the aspirants to the mbbs degree. The eligibility for the exam involves
1. The aspirant should have completed 10+2 exam physics, chemistry and biology as subject.
The aspirants should have secured a minimum percentage of 50% for general category for sc and st aspirants the percentage required is 45%.
The minimum age required for appearing in the exam is 17. The aspirant can apply upto a age of 25. The relaxation is 5 year for sc , st and backward aspirants.
Reservation for the course is as per government norms. There is no state reservation and admission is only through the merit.
As your son would have completed 17 years by the date of exam you are eligible to apply for the exam.

Yes, Your son is eligible for AIPMT exam for this year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AIIMS EXAM

Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIIMS exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.

Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects.

For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

AGE CRITERIA

Your minimum age should be 17 years.

COURSE DURATION - 5½ Yrs.

ADMISSION NOTICE - The month of December.

Exam date for AIIMS is not announced yet.

So you can visit regularly to the AIIMS website (www.aiims.edu)

EXAMINATION MONTH - The month of June.
