Information Regarding SCRA-2012 Examination.

Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) examination is conducted by the UPSC in every year in behalf of the ministry of Railway. SCRA examination is taken for the selection of the candidates at the Mechanical department of the Indian Railway. Special Class Apprentice job is consider as the best job of the Indian Railway. The details notification can be obtained on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). To appear in the SCRA-2012 examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Pass 12th class or equivalent examination with mathematics and at least one subject physics and chemistry as the main subject from the recognize board.

Age Limit = The age must be between 17 to 21 years on 1st January 2012. i.e candidate must have born not earlier then 2nd January 1991 and not later then 1st January 1992.

If your date of birth is 30/4/1995 then according to eligibility criteria you are not eligible for the SCRA-2012 examination. I have attached the notification of the SCRA-2012 with this message please see the below attached file and read it carefully to confirm.

So, you are not eligible for the SCRA-2012 examination. You will be eligible in the next year. For complete information visit UPSC website : http://www.upsc.gov.in

Dear Friend,

The Essential requirements for SCRA Exam are :

* you must have passed 12th with a minimum of 55% marks from science stream.

* You must have Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as your key subjects in 12th.

* Your age must be in between 17-21 years.

* You must be an Indian Citizen.

Now as per your date of birth , you are currently ineligible because your age is below 17 years which is the minimum age required for this examination.
