Am I eligible for upcoming AIPMT Exam with a date of birth of 21-04-1996?

Eligibility Criteria for AIPMT Exam

• Nationality : Indian
• Educational Qualification :
  • The candidate must have either passed or appearing in Intermediate or equivalent examination with physics ,chemistry and biology/biotechnology as cumpulsory subject from a recognized board or university.
  • You must get at least 50% together in Physics,chemistry and Biology/Bio-tech in class 12th or Equivalent examination.
  • General PH candidate requires 45%
  • SC-PH and ST-PH requires 40% .
• Age Criteria : 17 to 25
  • He she has completed the age of 17 as on 31st december of his year of admission to first year MBBS/BDS course.
  • The upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st december of year of exam.There has been a provision of age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidate.
  • Candidate must born between:
    • 01.01.83 to 01.01.96 (SC/ST/OBC)
    • 01.01.88 to 01.01.96 (Other category)
• Students of Andhra pradesh and Jammu kashmir are not eligible.

So as you can see that your date of birth lies after 01.01.96 so you are not eligible ,if you belong to general category otherwise if you are either a candidate of SC/ST/OBC category ,then you are eligible
