I have done my diploma in Computer Science & engg. Now I admissioned last week B.TECH. (distance education )From KARNATAKA
STATE OPEN UNIVERSITY(www.ksoumysore.com). I want to know that this university is AICTE UGC approved or not and also i
want to know whether i am eligible to apply for the govt job based on ksou btech qualification.

Dear friend,

Karnataka State Open University is approved by UGC.

But not approved by AICTE.

I have attached a document which is as a proof of UGC approval.

HI.,
Karnataka State Open University is not approve by A.I.C.T.E but it is approve by U.G.C..

After passing B.TECH through KSOU you can apply for Govt job..

I am doing b.tech from KSOU as face to face mode. After completion of b.tech can i apply for MBA /M.Tech from any indian universities (UGC APPROVED). is KSOU provides the degree for technical program as BTECH.(MECH.) also can i apply for govt. job in future after comletion the B.Tech or M.Tech.
I request you please reply. Is it most necessary to approve from AICTE for Any Technical program? with out AICTE approval is this degree has value or not?
Why ksou official website is not showing any technical program for BTECH/Mtech. in its course?

Please remember no technical course can be offered by distance mode. In case of KSOU. It doesnt have the authority to do the same.

The Certificate shown has a stamp of 2004 and UGC has banned the BE course actually Engineering courses in 2005. No further development.
