i am not math a background student in +2 but i have degree of bca can i join the mca

The answer of this question, I have already Posted Manny times. And this tyoe of question were asked mannt time by some Candidates.

But, i inform you that, if you dont have MATHS OR CS in your 12th exams. Then you are Not Eligible for get admission in MCA.

Because to get admission in MCA, you should have Maths OR CS in your 12th exams.

Because, any Top Colleges, will give you admission only then, if you have Maths in your 12th exams.

And if you got admission in BCA without Maths, then why are you not take admission In MCA in the same colleges.

But, I will tell you that, any Top colleges will not give you admission in MCA without Maths in 12th.

Only those colleges will offer you MCA without Maths, who are not recognised.

Yes Its not possible toh take admission in mca without Maths in +2.
but there is 1 alternative that you can try...
you can give a seperate exam for +2 mathematics via NIOS ie National Institute for Open Schooling..

its legally valid and will entitle you eligiblity to give entrance test for MCA.

Wherever BCA/MCA is concerned. A guys having his/her 10+2th in Science can go for BCA/MCA. it doesn't mean that should be completed with Math only. The guys completed with Biology also qualify for the same.
BIT Mesra is a finest institute to do BCA/MCA.

u can't do mca in any of the colleges as regular student.
bt u may do ur mca through distance learning.

the eligibility criteria for MCA is

50% aggregate in bachelor's degree and maths as one subject in +2.

So you are not eligible to study in a recognized institute..

sorry dear without maths, u cant get admission in gud colleges....
as u r doing bca than definitlly you can go for mca......but gud colleges will not be in your hand...
as i know if you wat to pursue bca than maths is compulsory in 12th...
but some distance learning institue remove this clause....

no you cannot do MCA because math in 12TH standard is the necessary condition for it .MCA is the master course in the computer application.Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years from a reputed Institute with at least 55 % aggregate marks in Graduation ,this is also a criteria for this course. It is one of the good course and MCA people has good scope in the IT indusrties .In the MCA colleges the IT companies come for the recruitment purpose .So it is the good course for the secured future.Don't worry because there are so much other jobs for you people .Best of luck for your bright future!!!

its true that as par as the requirement of a college providing MCA admission u need to hv maths .but there are some colleges in which maths is nt mendatory .like for girls banasthali university ,rajasthan provide MCA without maths .but yaa u always can join MCA in the same college in which u r doing ur graduation

yes u can go for mca
as u have done bachler degree in computer application
than afcourse u can do master degree in that same field
12 with maths is recomanded for those who done batchler degree
with other steam

yes you can do because your a student of computer applications in your graduation obviously you can do MCA in your post graduation.

yo have eligible for only offer or autanoums collegs.
not eligble for government selection and top colleges process.

if u have not opted maths in +2 you can do M.C.A because if you have do B.C.A. then the college was taken the test of you in Maths and if you have clear this you can join M.C.A. as a proof that you have clear that test.......you can also take coaching of maths and give him the test of yoyr maths and when u r clear in this test............u can do M.C.A

Generally recognised universities do not accept MCA admission without Mathematics in
12th, but there are some colleges which accept this condition. So, you can search for such colleges and consult the college authority in person.

1)Without Maths you cannot do MCA

2)Only option is that you can do Distant education or part time in MCA lot of University are there in India

Dear friend for BCA minimum eligibility criteria is having Maths in 12th and for good university you must have 60%.
But as you are saying that you have BCA degree then you can go for MCA.
But friend before taking admission please confirm the recognisation of the college.

hi,though u r not a maths student,u would have learned maths in bca,so definitely u can do mca because many colleges are admitting the students.......u try for that all the best...

yes, obviously u can join mca because though u have not maths in 12th but you have one subject of economics. In economics you have learnt the maths topics like 'differentiatioon, integration, probability and many other chapters aru included which are being taught in 12th science. Morover these chapters are enough to do mca , nothing more than that. Don't worry.

hi!! It's not advisable to take MCA without Maths in ur 12th. If u r really much interested in d computer field there r many courses available.. U can join in any one of those courses..

Hi as i completed my MCA without having 12th maths
so u also do your mca as you have done your BCA
According to me maths is not considered so much logic and understanding the subjects is must
in interviews they see your logic and knowledge of the subject
ya, you have to improve your apt so refer books of apt to attend interviews

you told that you dont have maths in 12th.......
but generally we can do MCA after completion of BCA.......
but we must have the minimum knowledge about the mathematics unless we cant do MCA efficiently.....so its better to take course on basics of mathematics which are useful to do MCA.....then only we can MCA get degree successfully.................

dude,non recognised collages allow u coz they wnt students...bt i thnk mates is essential 4 mca,it i having a lot of applications in programming

The eligibility criteria for taking admission in MCA is to have a bachelor degree in the BCA.The student should also have mathematics as a subject in 10+2 level.

As far as my knowledge is concerned, it is not possible to take admission into MCA without having maths as subject at your 10+2 level. I don't know how you have joined.

But it is sure that without having maths as one of the subject either at your 10+2 level or graduation level, it is not possible for you to get admission into MCA.

Its not at all possible to learn technical and computer related subjects without the background of mathematics. You will not be able to understand them without the basic fundamentals of mathematics.

But if you are too interested to learn them then join certified courses like eDAST and PEARL. CMC is providing these courses and they are even providing placement opportunities to students after completion of the course.

eDast is one year course and PEARL is a two year course.

yes,you can,bca is a special academic course intriduced for any +2 student who want's to join directly mca course without having maths background in +2

if you do not have maths in your inter you are not eligible for doing mca.but after completing bca you can do mca but it was little bit tough task for you and oppurtunities are also very less.so my friend it is better to you to join any other couse which are close to your bca

c d main thing is dat when u r doing your Bca graduation,u r supposed to study maths for d first 2 semesters and den after ur degree u r eligible for MCA.......so best of luck and do well in ur future life

Yes you can do MCA after completing BCA if you had no maths in 12th class........ yes it is necessary to have maths in 12th class but if you can do BCA then you will get admission in MCA ........ and it is better course there are many scopes in this field ..... so go for it if you have interest in it.....

Yes you can do MCA, because you are a BCA student.

But it is also true that many colleges want maths in 12th to get admission in MCA.

For example,

IGNOU is one of the best universuty for pursuing MCA.

But if you don't have maths in 12th, then you have to do a course on CS in the first year of MCA in IGNOU.

Likewise, different universities have their own different rules.

And they take a yearly entrance exam to take admission.

There are many entrance exams taking place all over India for MCA....

1) Maharashtra MAH MCA-CET -- it is the MCA Common Entrance Test in Maharashtra.

2) NIMCET -- it is the Entrance Exam for MCA in National Institutes of Technology (NITs).

3) AIMCET -- it is the Entrance Exam for MCA in IITs.

4) PU MCA -- it is the entrance exam for MCA in Pune university.

Dear friend, i think you cannot take master in computer application (mca) admission without maths. Because maths is the important subject. It is the important role the mca concepts and codes are related with maths only. So you are eligible for mca admission without maths. Best of luck

i too dont have maths in 12th...........but i had computer science in 12th.........now completed my bsc computer science..........can i have eligibility to do in NIT........

Absolutely yes! who said you that if you don't have maths in 12th you are not eligible for MCA. Look , its fully based on the colleges .some colleges may allow you without studying maths in 12th but in some colleges they have there own rules which doesn't allow you to do. After completing 12th without maths you can join BCA in some colleges same as you can join MCA without maths but if you want to join MCA in any big college or university then its not possible for you.Try to join MCA in the same college where you finished BCA but if the college does not exist then you have move on .There are lot of Recognized universities and colleges which allow you to do MCA without maths in 12th. For your kind information Maths does not have any relation with MCA. MCA is fully based on software application technology so there is no need of compulsion for maths.so dont worry you will get admission in a good college for MCA.
