INDIAN ARMY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Entering into Indian Army can be in two different ways, one to finish the graduate degree and to apply for Indian Military Academy two to finish 10+2 and apply for National Defense Academy...

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA

-> The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-> The candidate must have finished his/her 10+2 from the recognized school.

-> The candidate must be below 19 years of age.

-> The candidate must be physically fit.


-> As the eligibility criteria for NDA which is for the school candidates you are not eligible to apply because you have finished only 10th and you are already attained the age of 19.

-> So it's better you finish your 12th and college degree and apply for Indian Military Academy.

Yes, If you are Joining Indain Army you may Write NDA Entrance

Exam conduted by the UPSC.

Qualification for joining in Indian Army:

Candidate must be the citizen of India

Age should be less than 19 years

Any degree with minimum 40% aggregate 0r 10th and +2 pass.

Candidate should be physically fit.

You can join Indian Army through NDA or SSB Board.

NDA( NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY) -
You can apply for NDA after 10+2 with maths and science.
Your age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

SSB BOARD-
You can apply for SSB Board after graduation from any field.

So according to this you are not elligible for NDA, because you are only 10th passed and you have completed your 19 year.

So it will be better for you to join SSB Board after your graduation.

No, you are not eligible for Indian army just passing your 10th class as the minimum eligibility criteria for the same is as under-
1. You must be a 12th pass from the recognized board.
2. Your age must be below 19.
From the above both the conditions will not fits for you so its better for you to complete your graduation first & then apply for the Indian Military Academy which needs a graduate student.

NO, my friend, at this moment you are not eligible for Indian Army..
the eligibility criteria for NDA-
*your age should be less than 19.
*you must have physics, chemistry,maths in your 12th..
*your must have 60% marks in your 12th..
as you have already mentioned that your age is already reach 19, so it is not possible for you to complete your 12th with in 19years of age..
so, you are not eligible for NDA..
my suggestion will be , you first complete your 12th, then you complete your graduation after that you can sit in defense exams like-
*CDS(combined defense service)
if you complete your graduation in engineering then you can sit in exam like-
*EKT(engineering knowledge test)

To join Indian Army as an officer, the minimum educational qualification required is +2. Candidates who qualifies +2 level of examination write NDA exam conducted by UPSC. This enables them to undergo a bachelors degree course and physical training at the academy and come out after 3 years as an officer.
The maximum age limit to write NDA exam is 19 years.
Candidate with the similar qualification as yours may join Indian Army as an soldier provided they have scored a minimum of 45% in the 10th exam and are within the maximum age limit of 17 1/2 years.
As you have mentioned that your age is 19 years, you won't be eligible to join Indian Army.

you should be 12th passed from recognized central/state board of education.
Or
You can also apply while appearing for 12th standard.
Your Age should be with in 16.5 to 19 years.
You should be Unmarried, Male & citizen of India.

But with your educational qualification you age not eligible to join in indian army.
General eligibility criteria:

+2 is the minimum educational qualification.

Age limits is 16.5years to 19years.

for this you have to pass 12th science then you are eligible for seat entrance exam after

clear exam then you are eligible for join in Army..............

NDA Exam:-


*Candidate pass 12th science with math,physics,chemistry as subject

*Age- 16.5 to 19 years
age relaxation based on government rules..........

no you can't join Indian army after 10Th.firstly you should either complete your +2 class in any stream then after you can give a test of NDA or you should complete your graduation then after you are eligible to go to Indian army.
