yes ,if you want to join state board ,of couse you are eligible for iit exam for next time but stil you wait one year for complition of eleventh.thank you ,all the best for your patience.

So yeah sure you can sit for the IIT entrance examination.

AIEEE gives 3 attempts, so in that also you can sit.

Over all, just after your 1st board attempt, and the year after you can sit for all the entrance examinations.

I am sorry to say that for you are not eligible for I.I.T because you have to pass 12th in only one attempts..

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with Physics, chemistry and maths with minimum 60% marks.
> Must be above 17 year and below 25 year.
> Must be citizen of India.

i have passed 12 in 2011 and my only attempt is in 2012 .so can i appear for iit jee anyhow?

yes you can appear for IIT JEE. The minimum qualification for appearing the exam is 12 pass in any stream. So go for it

Dear IIT-JEE aspirant,

According to eligibility criteria of IIT-JEE exam,
A candidate can appear in IIT-JEE exam twice only which is consecutive. That means if a student fails to appear in second year just after first year. Then, he/she can't appear in IIT-JEE exam in the future.

If you had already appeared in IIT-JEE exam this year, then you had lost your first chance. Next year is your last chance.
However, if you hadn't appeared in IIT-JEE exam this year. You are still having your two chances safe.

You are eligible for IIT-JEE if you reappear for 12th next year. IIT-JEE demands at least 60% marks from Class 12 (PCM).

I am 12th standard student .bt i do not giving exam this year because of health problems so i wil write it in 2014 .so how many times can i write jee advance and main.

i have finished my 12th class in 2011 and have dropped 2 years but i have never appeared in IIT-JEE. Will i be elligible to appear in the exam next year, i.e. 2014, for the first time after having dropped 3 years?
