It will be of 2years definitely... not for 1 year...

since you did your master doesn't have special privileges in M.tech it will be of 2years course whatsoever may be the qualification..

BIOTECHNOLOGY is booming and exciting field and even scope wise it is good. and after completion you start applying to forensic or other research department wherever it is applical.....

There are many R&D company present in India for good research work even you can also opt for U.S as they stands out in the field of research as well as the biotech market.
companies like CIPLA MUMBAI ,HiMedia Laboratories in mumbai hire mircrobiologist..
So it is good field with good scope..

generally m-tech full time course duration is 2 years . some institute provide 3 years part time M-TECH degree.

but M-TECH in one year it is not possible because the thesis paper duration is 1 year.

so it is not possible to do M.TECH in one year.

after m.SC in Biotechnology you are eligible for M-tech course.

M.tech biotechnology is a course of two years duration................every masters degree is of two years course instead of dual degree in which you can count one year less but it will be a joint degree..........................

your course Mtech biotechnology is of two years course ........now start preparing .................

The duration of M.tech course in any branch is 2years..
After completion of your master degree in bio-technology you have to appear in GATE exam for doing M.tech..
If you do well in GATE exam, then you will get a chance to take admission in M.tech..
so, my friend if you really want to go for M.tech then you have to crack GATE exam first..

Duration of M.Tech Biotechnology course after M.Sc. Biotechnology is depend on you.

if you will do M.Tech Biotechnology course in regular then it will be a 2 years course. or 4 semester.

if you will do M.Tech Biotechnology course in pert time basis then it will be 3 years. or 6 semester.

M. Tech. course is of 2 years duration. It does not matter what qualifications you have. Since you have done M. Sc. you are eligible for appearing in GATE which is entrance test for M. Tech.

as you know dear it is a post graducate course then it will be 2 years.
this is a good field that you choose for your future .
we have to choose the subject in which we have a great skills

friend whether u do ur mtech in biotech after bsc or msc the duration will always remain 2 yrs since the pg programme is definately of 2 yr duration but one thing sure is that after mtech u can have better job prospects avialable.

I have done M.Tech biotechnology after my M.Sc biochemistry. But now I am not working. I am searching job for past one year. But all are asking "why did you do two master degree?" Is there any better opportunity for m.tech than for m.sc.
