Eligibility to appear for Maharashtra Public Service Commission exam?
I have completed my Diploma on the basis of 10th and now I am in B.C.S. 3rd year but I haven't completed 12th. Then am I eligible to apply for MPSC - Maharashtra Public Service Commission?

Maharashtra Public Service Commission is a state civil services examination.
Candidate who want to apply for this exam must meet following eligibility criteria: He/she should be graduate from a recognized university or in final year of bachelor's degree. The age limit is 18-33 years for general category candidates. You can apply for MPSC exam after third year of BCS course. There is no problem if you have done diploma in place of 12th. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear for MPSC examination. MPSC examination is conducted for recruitment in government services.
The required minimum qualification to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Candidates in the final year can also apply for the course. The examination is conducted in three stages and have to qualify for all stages for final recruitment. The eligibility to appear for MPSC examination is that:
Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. No limitation on discipline of bachelor degree. The age limit is 19-33 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category. The examination is conducted in three stages. Candidates have to qualify in each stages to move to next stage and qualify in all stages for final selection. To get more details visit at www.mpsc.gov.in. |

The eligibility criteria for Maharashtra Public Service Commission exam;
1. You must have done bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam. 2. Age limit for general candidates is 18-33 year. OBC candidates can get three years upper age relaxation and five years to SC/ST candidates. If you have done diploma in place of 12th then also there is no problem. |

* You must be an Indian citizen. * Your age must lie within 19 years to 33 years. Age relaxation is applicabe for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have completed your bachelor degree course in any stream from a recognized university. Students pursuing final year of their degree course are also eligible. So being a student of third i.e; final year of a bachelor degree holder you are certainly eligible for appearing in MPSC examination if you satisfy the age criteria too. Also, one thing I would like to let you know that there is no compulsion of higher secondary school degree for appearing in MPSC examination. As far as you are concerned about your eligibility for appearing in MPSC ( Maharashtra Public Service Commission ) having pursued diploma degree course instead of higher secondary school degree course then I would like to let you know that you are certainly eligible for the same examination ( provided you satisfy the basic qualifications required for appearing in MPSC examination mentioned below ) as the diploma is a degree equivalent to higher secondary school degree.

Yes, candidates passed bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible to appear for MPSC examination.
MPSC examination is conducted in three stages and you have to qualify in all three - Preliminary, Mains, and Interview for final selection. The age limit is 19-33 years with relaxation in upper limit. So, you can do preparation for examination as according to syllabus. It is not mandatory to have 12th even equivalent degree is valid to pursue bachelor course. |

Diploma is also considered as an Intermediate and have same value. You will be eligible to write MPSC examination after completing Graduation.
Eligibility criteria required are as follows:- Candidate must be a graduation degree holder from a recognized university in any stream. Candidate must have scored at least 55 percent marks in graduation. Candidate age should be- 30 years for general 32 years for OBC 35 years for SC/ST 40 years for Ex-servicemen |
