Eligibility to attend the CTET Primary examination and reservation details?
I have 65% in my higher secondary, 43% in my graduation and 60 % in my masters and I am doing my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)now. Am I eligible for CTET Primary examination? Is there any relaxation for any caste of candidates?

CTET exam is conducted as Paper 1 and Paper 2. You can attempt both papers. Paper 1 is to become teacher for the classes 1 to 5 while paper 2 is to become teacher from class 6 to 8.
You must have atleast 50% marks and in your graduation as well as in your B.ed. However, for SC/St candidate it is 45% marks. The maximum age limit is 35 years. However, age relaxation is given to reserved categories. You can apply for the CTET exam. However, your result must be declared at the time of counselling. You would need to score 60% mars in CTET as CBSE will then only generate the report card. |
