Eligibility for becoming a Fighter Pilot?


I am doing graduation in B.A but, had PCM in 10+2. Can I become fighter pilot through CDS exam as they had written educational qualification for AFA as graduation with physics and maths at 10+2 level?

YES, you are eligible to apply.

Below is the educational qualifications required to apply for the Air Force wing.

Air Force Academy: Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering.

Age should be between 20 to 24 years.


Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy eligibilty: Bachelors Degree from a recognized university.

Indian Naval Academy: Bachelors Degree in Engineering
