Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe
candidates) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or whose results of Class-XII are likely to be declared by 7th July, 2011 are eligible to apply.
(ii) The candidate should have attained the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st December, 2011.

For AIIMS you must be a 12th passed student in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in which you should score minimum 60% in each and 50% in English.

Eligibility criteria for AIIMS Exam are as follows: -

1. A candidates passed 12th (10+2) class examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and scored minimum 60% aggregate marks from a regonised board.

2. For Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe - A candidates passed 12th (10+2) class examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and scored minimum 50% aggregate marks from a regonised board.

3. 12th (10+2) class examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology candidate are also eligible to apply.

4. Age - 17 Years to 21 Years

The eligibility for applying in AIIMS examination is to have a age of 17yrs till 31st january 2011. So be sure you are 17yrs old. You should have aggregate 50% marks in Physics Chemistry Biology(PCB) including English too.

Yes please be sure you should have general knowledge of current affairs, happenings etc. because it is being asked in paper.Do read news papers and more general knowledge books. Be prepared for numericals and mainly assertion reasons.

For AIIMS Entrnce Exam the Candidates should have attained the minimum age of 17 years.

you should be in 12 or 12th passed, not more than 1 year.
there is no maximum age limit.

There is negative marking for questions.

if you are aspiring to get any seat in good medical college in India then you should study atleast of 12 hrs of study in 24hrs...
