Why cant a B.H.M.S MHA&M is eligible for Phd at AIIMS???? What is the eligibility criteria required to do Ph.D in AIIMS? Can you please give me the information on this? I really wanted to understand if am eligible for the course or not?

AIIMS stands for All India institute of medical sciences. The eligibility criteria to pursue Ph.D is as follows.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The candidate must have passed

* Masters degree in any subject related to Bio-medical sciences.
(or)
* Masters degree course in Nursing with atelast 60% marks.
(or)
* Master of surgery or Doctor of Medicine

from a recognized university/ Institution.

Apart from the above, the candidate must have MBBS degree with atleast 55% aggregate marks.

As BHMS is bachelor degree course and MHA/ MHM are related to hospital administration. So, BHMS and MHA/ MHM are not eligible to apply for Ph.D in AIIMS.
