LL.B.-BACHELOR OF LAW a challenging professional career. There are two ways one can purse LL.B., one is of 5 years integrated course and can be pursed after 10+2 and other is of 3 years duration which can be pursed after graduation from any stream.

After B.Com. if you are interested for LL.B. then you can apply for CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) and cracking the same you can get admission to top law colleges in Mumbai as well as through out India.

LLB is a very prestigious degree...The person with this degree fights against inequality and wrong deeds of all types in the society.

Nobody messes with a Lawyer

Generally, eligibility for LLB is on the basis of marks scored at the graduation examinations.
The person should be a graduate like B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc. degree with minimum 40% marks (35% for SC / ST).

So if you fulfill the percentage criteria, then you can apply for the course.

Post graduates can also do this course, and they will also get a 2% weight age.

Percentage and other criteria may vary depending upon the institute.

For applying, you have to sit for exams like CLAT, LAWCET etc.

The Entrance Exam is written test where questions are based on Reasoning, Mathematics, English and General Knowledge.

Top colleges for doing LLB course are:

*National Law School of India University.
*Government Law College - Mumbai.
*ILS Law College.
*Aligarh Muslim University.

The types of jobs that you can get after completing LLB course are:

Advocates,
Attorney General,
District and Sessions Judge,
Law Reporters,
Legal Advisor's,
Magistrate,
Munsifs (Sub-Magistrate),
Notary,
Oath Commissioner,
Public Prosecutor,
Solicitors,
Teachers,
Trustees.

So you can get any of the above posts with your LLB degree...all the best.

Yes you are eligible to study LLB course. After completing your graduation you can pursue this course. For this you have to secure minimum 50% of marks at graduation level.

But you cannot give the CLAT Exam unfortunately because the maximum age limit for this exam is 20 years and since you have exceeded that therefore you can try out the other popular law entrance exams:

All India Bar Exam
All India Law Entrance Test
Army Institute of Law Entrance Test
ICFAI Law School Admission Test
Law School Admission Test
NALSAR University of Law Entrance Test
WBNUJS Entrance Exam
Symbiosis International University Entrance Exam

Exam Pattern:

Top Colleges:

NLSIU, Bangalore
NALSAR, Hyderabad
NLIU, Bhopal
Symbiosis Law College
ILS Law College
Faculty of Law, BHU, Banaras
Faculty of Law, DU, Delhi
Government Law College, Mumbai

Since you have completed graduation, it makes you eligible for the LLB course from Mumbai University or any other college in the city that offers this course. The criteria remains the same for this course.

LLB is pursued by candidates who want to become lawyer. There are two ways to pursue law. First method is after completing 12th standard take admission for the integrated LLB course.

The duration of this course is 5 years and it includes a bachelor course along with LLB. This is the more preferred method by the law aspirants.

Otherwise you can complete graduation and then apply for the LLB course. The duration of LLB course is 3 years. Since you have completed Bachelor of Commerce, LLB of 3 years duration is the perfect course for you.

2. Minimum of 45 percent should be secured in graduation.

3. There is 5 percent relaxation in qualifying degree for SC and ST.

5. There is upto 5 years relaxation for SC and ST.
