Re: Eligibility criteria for graduates in LLB course?
I want to know the eligibility criteria ( regarding age limit and minimum percentage of marks obtained in graduation) for admission to three-years LLB course under Balasore law college under Fakirmohan university.
I again want to know whether there is any restriction imposed by the bar council of India regarding minimum percentage of marks obtained in graduation for admission to three-years LLB course in order to be a Law-practitioner under the council after completion of the course. |

Re: Eligibility criteria for graduates in LLB course?
Dear Friend
You can pursue your bachelor's degree in law after graduation as well as 10+2.For 10+2 candidates the duration of LLB will be 5 years whereas for the bachelor's degree candidates it is only of three years. Now in order to pursue this course ,you must appear for the CLAT examinations: CLAT stands for the Common Law Admission test. Eligibility criteria : >>10+2 passed /appearing from a recognized board with minimum of 60% marks in it or you should be graduate from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in it .Relaxation in marks applicable to the sc/st candidates. >>You age should not be more than 20 years and relaxation in age also provided to the obc and sc/st candidates. CLAT consists questions from the following subjects: 1.Legal aptitude 2.General awareness 3.General English 4.Elementary mathematics 5.Logical reasoning. Note: In some of the universities ,admission to bachelor's degree in law is given directly on the basis of merit. Hope the information will definitely help you .If you want any more clarification or you have any other query please leave it here. all the best for your career. aashisranjan784 |
