Eligibility criteria for NIMCET-2011?
I am a Student Who have Completed My
10th(72%) 12th(59.5%)with maths(Bio science) Bsc computerscience(H) appearing 2011 aggregate marks 72% All i want to know is am I Eligible For Attending NIMCET Exam So that i can go For MCA and any other Way to Join For MCA Please help me with replays thanks.... |

Yes You Are Eligible For NIMCET 2011 Entrance Exams, Because To Appear In This Exams You Have To Scored Minimum 60% marks In Your 12th Exams With Maths As One Of the Compulsory Subject Along With 3 years Bachelor Degree form Recognized University.
So, You Can Apply for This Exams Before 11th April 2011, After This Date You Cant Apply for This Entrance Exams. So, If You Are Interested, Then Please Apply Soon Before This Given Dates. The Eligibility criteria for NIMCET-2011 is given below. 60% marks in 12th with mathematics and in bachelor degree from a recognize university. You obtained 59.5% in 12th then i think that you are eligible according to eligibility criteria. The exam will be held on 15th may 2011. Eligibility for NIMCET 2011- Indian nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of (i) 12th level with Mathematics and (ii) bachelor’s degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized university with any one of (a) mathematics (b) statistics (c) business mathematics (d) discrete mathematics (e) mathematical foundations of computer science (f) business statistics (g) computational mathematics (h) elementary mathematics (i) elementary statistics; as one of the subjects. Those who have done bridge course in mathematics are also eligible to apply |

The eligibility criteria for NIMCET 2011 is here: The candidate should secure at least 60% marks in his/her graduation in the following courses : 1. Mathematics 2. Statistics 3. Business Mathematics 4. Discrete Mathematics 5. Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science 6. Business Statistics 7. Computational Mathematics 8. Elementary Mathematics 9. i think your eligible not for the exam.minimum eligibility is Candidate must have a
minimum of 60% aggregate in 12th as well as Graduation. For SC/ST candidates they should have got at least 55% aggregate. Candidates should also have studied Maths/Statistics/Business Maths in Graduation as well as 12th.but your sc/st candidate your eligible for the exam. |

Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of 12th level with Mathematics and Bachelor’s Degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized University with any one of the following as one of the subjects Mathematics Business Mathematics Discrete Mathematics Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science Business Statistics Computational Mathematics Elementary Mathematics Elementary Statistics Those who have done Bridge Course in Mathematics are also eligible to apply. The percentages of marks for (i) and (ii) given above are to be calculated on the basis of method used by respective Board / University.Students completing degree from Open Universities are also eligible to apply provided their course is approved by UGC/AICTE / Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NIMCET2011. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NIMCET2011 preferably at the time of Counseling/Admission but not later than 31st August, 2011, failing which, their admission may be cancelled by the respective NITs.State quota is applicable only for the state of Tamil Nadu .Candidate passed / appeared for qualifying exam from Tamil Nadu will be eligible for Tamil Nadu State Quota of NIT – Trichurapalli. For all other NIT’s only all India quota is applicable. |

sir, i m kabir.. i ve biology in 12th, and maths as optional one. my aggregate percentile is 57.5% but best of five in above 60%.(excluding maths). and my graduation is above 80%. am i eligible for nimcet2011. plz help...

As you are doing your 12th standard and you think that you are very good in science apart form Mathematics ,then we will suggest you that ,simply go for the good comibination of the subjects i.e Physics ,Chemistry and Biology. It is a very good combination of subjects which will help in the lines like Bio Technology .So , if you want to go into medical field then these subjects will surely help you out . Thanks |
