Dear friend,

Eligibility Criteria for MCA (Master of Computer Applications):-

You must be completed with 60% marks in aggregate in any Bachelors degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities .

Having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination.

EXAM DETAILS OF NIMCET:-

Availability of Online Application form: Last week January, 2012

Date of Nimcet12 Examination: Second Week May, 2012

Date of Publication of Result: Last week May, 2012

NIMCET is a MCA Entrance Examination in India.

ELIGIBILITY for NIMCET is
One must have score 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of

12th level with Mathematics and

Bachelor’s Degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized University with any one of the following as one of the subjects

• Mathematics
• Business Mathematics
• Discrete Mathematics
• Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science
• Business Statistics
• Computational Mathematics
• Elementary Mathematics
• Elementary Statistics

Those who have done Bridge Course in Mathematics are also eligible to apply.

i hv done bca but don't hv maths in 12th. i hv phy,chem,bio. am i eligible for nimcet mca???

Airforce some recruitment time to time for 10th student.
as a non technical or technical level you can apply for these post.

They have one entrance exam which is conducted by the indian airforce.

Eligibility for NIMCET 2012

Eligibility: Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST category) in 12th (10 + 2) level or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects at either 10+1 or 10+2 level or at both the levels; and; qualifying degree#-bachelor’s degree of full time* 3 year or more duration from a recognized university with at least one of the following as a chosen subject of study; Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics, Elementary Statistics are eligible to apply for NIMCET-2012

NIMCET examination is conducted by the NIT's colleges every year .The examination is done for admission to MCA course .There are different National Institutes of Technology(NITs) which are located at Raipur, Surathkal, Agartala, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Tiruchirappalli Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut and Warangal.

So if you want to get admission in the NIT then you will have to appear for the NIMCET exam which is conducted every year .

Pattern of the examination ::

The question paper is of objective types and consist of 120 question which is divided into 4 section :

1:Mathematics->40 Questions,
2.Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning -> 55 questions,
3.Computer Awareness -> 10 questions,
4.General English -> 15 questions.

Eligibility :

Well you must have completed your graduation in any streams with maths as a compulsory subjects .

You must have got maths in class 12th to apply for the MCA .

@The candidates who are

eligibility criteria of NIMCET-2012

failing which their admission is
liable to be cancelled by the

I have completed B.Sc.(Maths) with 60% in 2011 and now persuing M.Sc.
I got 54% in 10 2...
So can i elgibile for NIMCET???
