Eligibility criteria for UPSC and TNPSC exam?
i'm final year B.Tech(IT) student,i wish to apply upsc and tnpsc pls help abt the eligibility criteria ?

TNPSC A Candidate must be:– 1. Citizenship that he is - i. a Citizen of India; or ii. a subject of Nepal or Bhutan; or iii. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or iv. A person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tankanika and Zanzibar) Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia with the intention of permanently settling in India. v. A Candidate belonging to categories (iii) or (iv) or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan should also obtain a certificate of eligibility given by the Government of Tamil Nadu. vi. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to an examination or interview and he will provisionally be appointed subject to the necessary certificate being given to him by the Government of Tamil Nadu. 2. Character and antecedents are such as to qualify him for the appointment; 3. Candidates In Union/State Government Service that on the date of notification/advertisement for the purpose of directs recruitment he was not in the service of the Indian Union or of a State in India. EXAMINATION PATTERN. The selection to the posts included in Group - I services, is done in three consecutive stages that include • Preliminary Examination for selection of aspirants for admission to the Main Written Examination • Main Written Examination • Oral test in the shape of an Interview. Maximum Age Limit for TNPSC Exam:
Educational Qualifications differ according to the post for which the candidate applies and will be available in detail with the admission notification. Dear friend,,
since you are an b.tech final year student , i hope that you are above the age of 21 . For that reason you are eligible for upsc and the qualification needed for this is graduation. But as far as tnpsc is concerned it has different age limits for different sectors of jobs. |

sir i did my MD physician degree from Tashkent medical academy Uzbekistan.i passed exam in India which is conducting threw medical council of India(which is mandatory for foreign medical graduates for get working license in India) and now i m doing my internship in rml hospital in Delhi.medical council of India consider me as bachelor like mbbs after completion of my internship.kindly tell me M I ELIGIBLE FOR UPSC ?THANKS..plz plz answer me i m so much confused

you must be (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee Age Limits: your age must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years relaxation for sc/st Minimum Educational Qualifications: you must have a degree from any Universities |
