Eligibility for TNPSC. Please give me the details about the eligibility criteria

TNPSC stands for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. It is conducted by state government of Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility criteria:

You must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

The minimum age limit to apply is 21 years and upper age limit for general category candidates is 30 years. Relaxation of age for OBC, SC/ST candidates.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission conducts entrance exam for Group 1, Group 2,Group 4 for various post.

TNPSC Group 1 Exam Eligibility--

To apply for Group 1 exam, Aspirant must be graduate or equivalent as per the requirement of the post from the recognized University/Institution.
Those who have written the final year degree exam, may also apply for the Preliminary exam.

Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 year. Relaxation in upper age limit will be given to reserved candidates as per the Government rules.

Physical qualifications-

For Men- Must be not less than 165 cms in Height and not less than 86 cms round the chest on full inspiration and must have a chest expansion of not less than 5 cms on full inspiration.

For Women-Must be not less than 155 cms in Height.The Chest measurement will not apply to them. Candidate must Knowledge of Tamil

Slection will be made in three stages- Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination, Interview.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam Eligibility-

To appear in TNPSC Group 2 exam, Aspirant must be graduation degree/ diploma from a government recognized institute. Tamil language is compulsory to be known to aspirant.

Age should be minimum 20 year and maximum 30 year for Junior employment officer. Sub-Registrar, grade 2 age limit is 18 to 40 years. Age relaxation for reserve category as per government rules.

TNPSC Group 4 Exam Eligibility-

Aspirant must have 10th/12th from any recognized Board. Applicants must have required trade qualification as per post applied.

Age of candidate should be between 18 to 30 year. Relaxation for reserve candidate as per government rule.

Selection on the basis of written test or personal interview.

TNPSC means "Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission’s"(TNPSC)

Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent qualification on the date of notification.

1.Must possess minimum general educational qualification viz. Must have passes S.S.L.C public examination or
2.Its equivalent with eligibility for admission to higher secondary courses of studies or
3.to college courses of studies.

Age Criteria-->>

Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 year

Some of the other details regarding TNPSCC are as below:--->>

1.The applicants who have not passed S.S.L.C examination or its equivalent are not eligible even if they possess a higher qualification.
2. Knowledge of Tamil: Candidates should possess knowledge of Tamil.
