Eligibility for distance B.Ed course?
I passed BA with 47% marks in distance mode. I want to study B.Ed in distance mode as well. So, please explain me that am i eligible?

For distance B.Ed course candidate must have passed bachelor degree with at least 45% from a recognized university. As per your percentage of marks i think you are eligible to purse B.Ed distance course. The name of best college for you in which you can try to get admission are given below.

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education. It is a teacher training course. The eligibility criteria for regular/distance Bachelor of Education is:
>>Candidate must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university. >>Candidate must have minimum 50% marks in bachelor's degree to apply for entrance exam of Bachelor of Education. Since, you have only 47% marks in Bachelor's degree in Arts, you can not apply for B.Ed course. |

Bachelor of Education can be done in both distance as well as regular mode but academic qualification remains same. The academic qualification for B.Ed is graduation. Final year graduation candidates are also allowed to apply for B.Ed.
The minimum percentage of marks in bachelor's degree should be 50% marks to apply for B.Ed course. But you have scored only 47% marks in graduation. You are not eligible to apply for B.Ed course. |

1. Graduation in any stream from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates are also eligible for this course. 2. Percentage required in bachelor's degree is 50% to apply for B.Ed course. You can not apply for this course with 47% marks in graduation. |

The full form of B.Ed is Bachelor's degree in Education.
Academic qualification: Graduation is the minimum academic qualification for this exam. Percentage of marks required in graduation is 50%. You are not eligible for Bachelor of Education course after having only 47% marks in graduation. |

The eligibility to get admission in bachelor of education degree in any recognised university is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree with atleast 50% relaxation for reserved category.
So, if you belong to general category you will be not eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission in course. The duration of B.Ed course is 2 year 4 semester and offered in regular and distance mode as well. |

The qualification required for pursuing Bachelor of Education is:
Bachelor's degree in any stream. You must have at least 50% marks in graduation to apply for B.Ed course. You can not study Bachelor of Education because you have only 47% marks in graduation. |

Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue B.Ed in Correspondence Mode:
Besides having Bachelor Degree, you are required to have minimum work experience. So make sure you have good years of work experience in order to be eligible. Some of the colleges ask candidates to have 2 years of teaching experience and some of the colleges ask candidates to have no such teaching experience required.
