I am Saumik Sarkar I want to join for NDA, I am very much interested for giving this examination and I want to join and work for my country. So, please share some tips and suggestion on how to crack this exam at one shot. Also, share list of guide books name for this exam.

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and for joining the same you need to qualify NDA entrance examination held by UPSC twice every year.

Further, the minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in NDA entrance examination are as hereunder :-

* You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate.

* Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

* You must have completed your Class 12th in any stream from a recognized board. For joining Indian Navy and Indian Airforce you must have completed your Class 12th with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects.

* You must hold physical and mental fitness as per the service requirement norms.

For qualifying the same examination you need to be good in Mathematics as well as English and General Studies (which includes History, Geography, Civics and General science problems) and for these you can refer to the books by Arihant Publication on NDA entrance examination preparation.

NDA is conducted twice in a year by UPSC. The examination is conducted in two stages are:-

Written.

SSB.

The written paper contains question of General Ability ( English, General Science, Social Studies, Current Affairs ) and Mathematics.

Candidates who qualify in written will become eligible to appear in SSB stage.

So, you can prepare for examination as per the syllabus of examination. The best book for preparation of NDA examination is Arihant NDA/NA book and Lucent General Knowledge.
