NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is conducted by UPSC, twice in a year. To apply for this examination you have to complete your Intermediate examination from a recognized Board. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this examination.

But for this your age should between 16.5 to 19 years. No upper age relaxation is applicable for any candidates.

Eligible candidates may apply for any one the wings as per his own Interest and eligibility basis.

If you have completed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects then you are eligible for all the wings of NDA. Otherwise you can only apply for army wings.

You must be medically and Physically fit in all the respect to apply for NDA.

For this year Both NDA Examination Notification was declared and the last date was already over.

If you are Interested in this examination then please wait for next year Recruitment Notification. There is no need to scored minimum percentage in your Intermediate examination to apply for NDA, Any Intermediate passed candidates are eligible for this examination.

There is no requirement of any percentage of marks criteria for application to NDA.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, is the only Defence Academy which trains young Indians for a most responsible defence personal for the safe guard of the country in three wings as Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION(UPSC) conducts NDA entrance exam twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED TO JOIN NDA:-

-The candidate must be an unmarried Indian and should be a male candidate only. Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA.
-Should be either appear for the 12th exam in any stream or pass from a recognised Board.
-Should be within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.
-Should have possessed good Physical and Mental health.

The candidate wish to join Indian Navy/Air Force should have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

NDA-I 2012 exam has already been completed and registration process for NDA-II 2012 exam has also been completed on 04.06.2012 followed by exam on 19.08.2012.

If you are interested you can wait for the notification for NDA-I 2013 exam during December 2012 for exam to be held during April 2013.

In order to join NDA, one has to give NDA Exam which is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

You are eligible to join only Army wing of the National Defence Academy if you havn"t studied Mathematics as one of the subject. In order to join Navy and Air Force wings, you should have gone through Mathematics as one of the subject in your academic levels.

As the date is over so you have to wait for the next year but till then go through the preparation for entrance exam & physical fitness.

In National Defence Academy(NDA) exam percentage are not required and NDA exam is conducted two times only in a year i.e

NDA-I,

NDA-II.

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducting this exam every year twice.

NDA has three wings:-

Indian army,

Indian navy,

Indian airforce.

Educational qualifications:-

You should be complete +2 from a recognised state or centrat board.

For airforce and navy wings you must have PCM subjects in 12th standard but not required for Army wing.

Percentage of marks is no needed for this exam.

12th standard persuing candidate is also eligible.

Age criteria:-

The candidates age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is no relaxation for the reservation candidates.
